It is an inevitable declaration for Muslim Ummah that education and research is need of the day for renaissance of Islam. This matter is so unavoidable that absence of this will not bring respect and prestige for Muslim Ummah in the worldly affairs and nor the achievement of true spirit of Islam. In order to contribute in this inescapable activity, Center for Education and Research was decided on 26th of May 2009 to be formulated. It has been seen a great lack of skilled man force for the implementation of Islamic law. The brainpower equipped with specific thinking, education, political, economic, social and moral values which can work as labor force for the reawakening of Muslims and Center for Education and Research is founded to fulfil this core purpose. The name of the center (Center for Education and Research) itself advocates the aims of the center. The center is not aimed to be a conventional educational institute but it is a combined movement of education and research because the task of renaissance of Muslims demand a comprehensive and harmonious efforts in education, research and thought building.

Center for Education and Research was founded on 18th of August 2009 (27th of Shaban 1430 Hijra) inaugurated by Honorable Professor Dr. Anis Ahmad (Vice Chancellor Riphah University Islamabad). The institute is situated in Islamabad, with an area span of 7.5 kanals. Jamia Masjid Abdullah Bin Abbas (RA) is part of this project which has an area of 2 kanals and it can accommodate 2500 people at a time.
